Hope Farm Granville is a non-profit organization providing therapeutic riding resources to children and adults through individual and group lessons.
The focus of instruction is on the growth of each individual toward his or her personal potential through Equine Facilitate Learning activities and/or Equine Assisted Therapy lessons. No one will be turned away for financial reasons.
Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) is an educational approach that includes equine facilitated activities incorporating the experience of cognitive learning through the human/equine partnership in a lesson directed by an instructor.
Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) is a form of treatment which has rehabilitative goals relating to a student or patient's needs according to doctor's standards of practice. EAT is nearly always conducted during a mounted riding lesson.

Our program horses include:

Cody, a Quarter horse who was born in Wyoming. He has retired here after being a 4-H barrel racing horse. He loves his food and he loves to give lessons. He is very smart and very brave. He is the leader in the barn.

Kari, a Norwegian Fjord horse who was born in Norway. She has retired here after being a brood mare at a fjord farm in Lebanon, OH. She is the grandma of the barn. She loves attention but she is a little shy.

Froia, a Norwegian Fjord horse was born in New Mexico. She has been with us since she was 11/2 years old. She is very energetic and doesn't like to be alone.

Stormy, a quarter-horse pony has an unknown background. He came from an auction benefiting The Works in Newark. He used to be afraid of horses and he has had some health problems in the past. Now he is healthy and happy and enjoys being groomed and ridden. He especially likes to see new things on the trail.

Blaze, was born on Hayes Road right here in Granville, OH. He came to live here when he was just 3 months old. He has a wonderful personality and enjoys being groomed. He likes to go for walks (and some trots) with his human-friends.
